National Days of Agriculture
On 16, 17 and 18 June 2023, the 3rd edition of the National Days of Agriculture will take place. These days are a link between the agricultural ecosystem and society as a whole. Indeed, the French love farmers, want to support them, but very often also ignore agriculture, its functioning and its actors. The 3rd edition of the Journées Nationales de l’Agriculture is an opportunity to inform the French people about everything that agriculture brings them on a daily basis: diversified production, excellence and food sovereignty and dynamic jobs.
The 2023 National Days of Agriculture will be held under the sign of the attractiveness and diversity of agricultural professions, with events organized throughout France: conferences, events, farm visits, tastings, etc. to satisfy the appetite of young and old for this subject!
The Minerallium opens its doors to the public
On the occasion of the National Days of Agriculture, the Minerallium opens its doors on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June in order to make the public discover, through the visit of the Minerallium, the role of minerals in agriculture.
The Minerallium, a 1,500m2 permanent exhibition, presents the unknown but essential role of minerals from the appearance of Life on Earth to their use in agriculture. Thanks to its four spaces equipped with many interactive animations, it reveals their importance in plant, animal and therefore human nutrition and presents their challenges for tomorrow’s agriculture.
